Oversee the flow of Drive Lane. Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service. Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer. Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person. Ensures that the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers. Work with sales department with pricing and recommendations needed for all pre-owned vehicle repairs. Prepare estimates of what is needed for each vehicle and speak to sales department for authorization. Prepare new cars to be sold. Responsible for managing all incoming/outgoing phone and internet service leads. Setting, confirming, and following up with customer appointments. Responding to inquiries in a professional, and well-spoken manner. Maintain an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business
Inspect every service repair order and/or invoice for proper completion and accuracy. Manage cash drawer and report balance daily to supervisor. Deliver to the account department all service orders and parts invoices closed during the business day. File repair orders as directed. Answer telephone, transfer calls as requested, and take messages as needed. Communicate with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner. Greet customers and direct them to service consultant. Meet customer service standards. Other duties as assigned.
